Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the website at dryerexpertspensacola.com (the “Site”) or engaging the services of Dryer Experts Pensacola (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our Site or scheduling service with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Site or engage our services.
1. Services
Dryer Experts Pensacola provides residential dryer repair services in Escambia County and Santa Rosa County, Florida. Our services include diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of residential electric and gas dryers. By engaging our services, you represent and warrant that:
- You are the owner of the appliance to be serviced, or you have the legal authority to authorise service on the appliance
- You have the authority to grant access to the property at which the service will be performed
- All information you provide regarding the appliance, its symptoms, and the service address is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge
- You are 18 years of age or older, or are acting with the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian
2. Service Call and Diagnostic Fee
A service call fee is charged for each appointment. This fee covers travel to your location, the time required for the technician to diagnose the fault, and any preliminary assessment performed. The service call fee is applied as a credit toward the total cost of the repair if you authorise the repair on the same visit. The service call fee is non-refundable if you choose not to proceed with the repair after the diagnosis has been delivered.
You will be informed of the estimated repair cost before any repair work begins. You must explicitly authorise any repair before the technician proceeds. We will not perform any work that has not been authorised by you or an authorised representative at the service address.
3. Payment
Payment is due at the time of service completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, major credit cards, and debit cards. For commercial accounts and property management clients with whom we have an established relationship, we may issue invoices with net-15 payment terms at our discretion.
Prices quoted are for the specific repair described at the time of diagnosis. If additional faults are discovered during the repair process that were not apparent during the initial diagnosis, you will be notified and must authorise any additional work and associated costs before the technician proceeds. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if the scope of work changes materially from what was originally quoted.
4. Warranty on Repairs
We provide a 90-day warranty on all parts installed and all labour performed by our technicians. The warranty covers the specific fault that was diagnosed and repaired. The warranty is subject to the following conditions and exclusions:
- The warranty applies only to the specific component repaired or replaced. It does not cover other components that may fail independently during the warranty period.
- The warranty is void if the appliance has been tampered with, modified, or serviced by another party after our repair.
- The warranty does not cover damage caused by power surges, flooding, fire, improper installation by a third party, misuse, or any cause external to the appliance itself.
- The warranty does not cover repeat failures caused by the same underlying condition that was identified and communicated to you at the time of the original repair but not remedied — for example, if a vent blockage was identified and cleaning was recommended but not performed, and the thermal fuse blows again as a result.
- To make a warranty claim, contact us at (850) 985-8505 or info@dryerexpertspensacola.com within the 90-day period. We will schedule a return visit at no charge to assess and rectify the covered fault.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We ask that you provide at least four hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a scheduled appointment. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than four hours’ notice may result in a cancellation fee equal to the service call fee, as the appointment slot cannot be reallocated to another customer on short notice. Same-day emergency appointments that are cancelled after the technician has departed for your location will be charged the full service call fee to cover travel costs incurred.
We reserve the right to reschedule appointments in the event of unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to severe weather, a prior appointment running significantly over time, or a technician illness. We will provide as much advance notice as possible in these situations and prioritise rescheduling within 24 to 48 hours.
6. Property Access and Safety
You agree to provide our technician with safe, reasonable access to the appliance and the surrounding workspace. This includes ensuring that the area around the dryer is accessible and that any pets are secured during the service visit. Our technicians have the right to refuse service or leave the premises if they encounter unsafe working conditions, aggressive behaviour, or any situation that poses a risk to their health and safety. In such cases, the service call fee may still apply.
Our technicians will treat your home with respect. They will clean up any debris created during the repair and leave the work area in at least the same condition as when they arrived. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to the appliance, surrounding cabinetry, flooring, or walls that is not caused by our service work.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Florida law, Dryer Experts Pensacola’s liability for any claim arising from services rendered or the use of this Site shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of use, or damage to property not directly caused by our service work, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
We are not responsible for the failure of parts installed in appliances that are beyond their expected service life, for failures caused by conditions outside our control (including but not limited to power surges, flooding, fire, or subsequent tampering), or for any damage arising from the customer’s failure to follow safety recommendations made during the service visit.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. The information on our Site is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute professional advice. We make no warranty that any specific repair outcome will be achieved.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or from services rendered shall first be addressed through good-faith direct communication between the parties. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Escambia County, Florida, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction in Escambia County.
You agree that any claim arising from these Terms must be brought within one year of the date the cause of action arose. Claims brought after this period are waived and forever barred.
10. Website Use
You agree to use our Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the Site. You agree not to use any automated tool, script, or process to access, scrape, or index our Site without our express written permission. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of our Site, its servers, or any system connected to our Site.
All content on our Site, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of Dryer Experts Pensacola or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on our Site without our express written permission.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our Site. Your continued use of our Site or engagement of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
